rex the artist

my work as an actor, writer, performer, and visual artist is rooted in a trans and working-class lineage of rebels, freaks, warriors, and mystics. i mix and match disciplines because i’m too big to be one thing or to fit in any boxes. it’s important for me to tell stories in ways that defy definition and legibility. my practice is about ritual and rupture, breaking down to break through with the gxdxs as my guides and collaborators. everything i do is a fuck you to the tired binaries and brutal systems that try to destroy us and a spell for liberation and reclamation.
